Would using a 6V or 9V battery tender/trickle charger on a 12V car battery work?

I have a trickle charger from a motorcycle but it only charges at 6V.. would it be ok to use on my 12V car battery or would it cause damage?

It won’t cause damage, but it won’t get you anywhere either.

no, the output wont be enough… the charger needs to be about a volt higher than what you are charging so the battery can reach and match the chargers output

no, dont use it. it will cause damage to the charger and drain the battery further.
