What is the best material for anode in electrolysis?
I need to electrolyze water (weak solution of NaCl or NaHCO3 for making water conductible) to produce hydrogen and oxygen, but no electrode (especially anode) material is good enough to last at 12 volts charge (from car battery charger). Which materials are the best for anode?
Terms are: no passivisation occurring, long lasting, (easy to find…).
