I’m pretty sure you can use just about any 9v ac to dc battery charger as long as it connects. Just make sure the volts are right and if it plugs in on both ends you’re good.

Those four answers are Bullshit. Well sort of. It’s true that any adapter will do, HOWEVER. A 9 volt adapter assumes that your smart enough to buy one that puts out 9 volts…… The key is that the polarity is correct. On the device itself you should see a + ./ – O or something like a picture. It means that the inside plug is positive voltake and the outer case is ground. It could be either way. The voltage is NOT that critical it could be from 6 or 7 volts to say 14 and still work perfectly. But the polarity MUST BE RIGHT. That is assuming it is a 9 volt DC supply. If it was 9 volt AC it wouldn’t matter, which wire is which wire.
By the way Radio Shack does not know what they are talking about. They have NEVER attended ANY SCHOOL, except maybe Mcdonald’s Fry University. Now that is not to say that some, very few at Radio Shack actually knows something. But the average is “Dimwit”.
